My Mission:
To improve equine well-being and performance by facilitating horses’ integration of body, mind and spirit so that they can expand into their fullest expression.
My offerings are the culmination of all the paradoxes of my life, swirled together and presented to you as “me” on a plate. From scientific research, to those modalities that I simply can’t explain. All have proven their effectiveness by the way they change horse’s way of being and going and they complement each other so beautifully.
I tie in all my years of experience and learning… riding and competing at top level competition and working with horses from a wide range of disciplines and abilities, qualifications as a (human) chiropractor with a bachelors and masters, as well as a masters of research in biomechanics, and my current study to become a veterinarian… along the way I have picked up many modalities - anything I saw benefits to my horses, I then went and learned - after all, horses have zero placebo, so if it works for them then I know it truly works!
Synergy and Freedom
Synergy and Freedom are terms that underpin all of my services. The aim of every offering is to tie together all of those “pieces” in your horse’s life so that they work together in harmony and flow. From this place of synergy they then have the freedom grow and expand in all areas of our life, to be the fullest expression of themselves.
There is a saying about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. I believe the whole is able to expand when all parts are flourishing and interconnected.
Core beliefs
The mission of Synergy and Freedom is to be of service to those who are looking for holistic and novel ways to integrate body, mind and soul. Those who are tired of the superficial or narrow approach. Those who are looking for tools with long lasting effects, not a quick fix that wears off sooner than you can even appreciate it.
Beneath the mission lay a number of core beliefs from my paradoxical life:
- That wellbeing and performance are not mutually exclusive - in fact, they are complementary
- That multi-modal approaches improve outcomes, knowing that one size does not fit all.
- That horses teach us more about life itself than they do about riding.
-That it is possible to be highly competitive and highly compassionate to horses at the same time.
-That I can serve you, if you are willing.
“When you help, you see life as weak.
When you fix, we see life as broken,
When you serve, you see life as whole.
Fixing and helping may be the work of the ego,
and service the work of the soul. ”
